A group of pastors lead by Scott Stirm, will be meeting with the Prime Minister to discuss the law passed concerning abortion. It was secretly passed, and we believe that the law is a major contributor to the escalating violence in Belize City and the country.
Here in Belize we have Area Representatives that should represent the people in the government. Belize has been suffering from leaders not being held accountable for their actions or lack there-of. A law is to be passed where they can be recalled if not performing well. We need to continue pray that God's wisdom and the fear of the Lord would direct our government so that the many problems in this country can be corrected. The church plays a major role in that. I think of Daniel and the three dudes(I am better at saying than spelling their names:-) who got thrown into the lake of fire. They influenced kings that were as heathen as they come. We must, as God's people, influence every area in life; just as we need to make God's reality our reality in our personal lives.
