When God shows me new truth, or another aspect to it, or taking it deeper, the initial outlook is usually promising. Why? Because I have already identified in my head what I think I should change or do to embrace it.
Thing is, God ALWAYS includes way more than I could ever think about. And when He does, it's like "wait, wait, you mean that too?"
I smile right now, but it never feels great at the moment. But, I can smile, because I can't hide nothing from God, and He knows what He is doing and He has proven countless times that He is absolutely trustworthy.
When I feel like things are being scattered and my 'known reality" is at stake, the only thing that allows me to think pass that and surrender to Him is that He is trustworthy.
He loves me, and even though He will never lower His standards and requirements for me, He will never harm me or hurt me or steer me wrong. Why would He, the right way is His way.
The only other challenge I face besides letting go, is the accusing lies of the Enemy. See, they are not the easy ones to recognize. No, no. He comes with the subtle ones that question your heart motives. Yeah, those ones that hit to the core. I thank God for the godly people He has placed in my life who help me wade through the lies.
I move forward knowing this truth:
"Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Isaiah 41:10
